India's largest telecom operator Reliance Jio Infocomm on Friday reported a nearly 24 per cent year-on-year rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 4,335 crore for the June 2022 quarter. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio clocked revenue from operations of Rs 21,873 crore in the just-ended quarter, which was 21.5 per cent higher than the year-ago period, according to a filing.

ITC Ltd on Friday reported a 23.09 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 5,070.09 crore for the third quarter ended December 2022, helped by growth momentum across its operating segments. The diversified company had posted a net profit of Rs 4,118.80 crore during the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal, ITC said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations was up 3.56 per cent to Rs 19,020.65 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 18,365.80 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Leading hospital chain Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd (Ahel) has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 477 crore during the second quarter this financial year, up 26 per cent from Rs 379 crore during the same period last financial year.
The aggregate net profit of banks during the quarter ended December 31, 2007, has registered a 41.5 per cent growth largely due to lower provisions and strong growth in other income. Other income rose a healthy 51.48 per cent, while provisions and contingencies registered a marginal 3.87 per cent rise. State Bank of India (SBI) on Saturday reported 10 per cent fall in standalone net profit at Rs 18,643 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025. The country's biggest lender had earned a profit of Rs 20,698 crore in the January-March period of 2023-24.
The decline was due to an increase in interest costs.

India's largest IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Friday reported a 5.2 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 9,478 crore for the first quarter ended June 30. The consolidated revenue from operations increased 16.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 52,758 crore in the first quarter of FY23. TCS has declared an interim dividend of Rs 8 per equity share of Re 1 each.
'In the last one year, we have added more than Rs 1.7 trillion, and we are on track.'
Strong deal wins and a good pipeline positions TCS very well in the new fiscal, TCS chief operating officer and executive director N Ganapathy Subramaniam said.
